Caught train to Waterfall Station from Central, then hiked via Camp Coutts past Kingfisher Pool to Lake Eckersley campground, where I spent the night.
During my hike, I met some SES personnel who were out on the trail looking for a lost Chinese lady who got lost the night before and made a distress call to 000. The lead guy said there were maybe 50 people involved in the search for her. This gave me confident if I'm ever a missing person that I've got a decent chance of being found cause people are just out looking for you. The lost lady was found safe the next day at home in Sydneys Eastern Suburbs.
Windy campsite by a lake. Was pretty cold and windy. Fell over and cut myself pretty good on my leg. Tried some fishing. But got nothing but snags. Ended up snipping off two lures and calling it a day.
